I want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
- E. E. Cummings

I was wondering, do lie detectors operate based on memory? I know that it detects lies due to the increase in heart rate when one tells a lie, because most people have a conscience. So unless that person has no conscience, a lie detector test would be quite accurate in gauging if you're telling the truth. So I was wondering, what if you don't remember doing something? Is there a part of your brain that still "remembers" what you did? If you don't remember doing something, would you be able to pass a lie detector test?

I just found out that when my sister has nothing better to do, she talks to her friend about China. Oh my god, no life. HAHAHA
